I didn’t use memorization techniques for the ITTOs. My approach was
to understand the PMBOK to a level that would allow me to know where I
was in the project lifecycle based on the question being asked. Many
questions provided hints (some useful, some not so much) to let me
know where I was in the lifecycle and the question asked e.g., “What
is the BEST thing to do NEXT”.
Knowing the IITO names and their alignment is good, but knowing when
and how to apply them is probably better.
