I posted a fix for issue 10: http://code.google.com/p/ply/issues/detail?id=10
Issue 10 is about a syntax error in ply/cpp.py in the current revision
(r39). Location of the fix: http://ply-hack.googlegroups.com/web/ply-r39-syntax-error-fix.diff.
It seems there was also a lot of trailing whitespace, which my editor
automatically removed...

Which editor do you use? I am still looking for my definitive editor

What do the rest use?

Gnome? If you just want a text editor, the default one should do. Eclipse has a boatload of features, but uses a fair amount of resources. I find myself in KDE or Windoze most often, so those two are the only ones I know of. I swear there were others I've tried, but I can't think of them, and who knows if they work well in Gnome.

I'm a long-time (and I do mean *long*-time) Emacs user. My fingers
think in Emacs. Nevertheless, for Python code, I've become a big fan
of the Wing IDE.

For what it's worth.

PyDev for me. Best thing I've found so far.

You mean the Eclipse plug-in, right? I can't use its features without
Eclipse, can I?

No, you can't without Eclipse.
On the bright side, I just found a new IDE called Pida[pida.co.uk/]
wich seems pretty promising.
It provides cool features like embedding Vim or Emacs. I'm actually
trying to make it work with Scite.
