Hi there

Is there somewhere summarizing numbers to gauge community size?
E.g. summary of attendance figures for past conferences, active
mailing list participants, ...

There's not one I know of... although I think it would be great if someone
took the initiative to do such survey/study!

I can tell you attendance figures for the 2006 and 2007 Plone Conferences
(Seattle + Naples, Italy), though -- both had about 350 attendees. I expect
we'll have about the same number in Washington DC in October.

Hi Jon

Thanks for the numbers!

Others that would be interesting:
- census of Zope/Plone user groups
- list of all events/Plone days/sprints with attendance figures
- some infographics showing trends in e.g. sprints (how many people
attended sprints per year, how many sprints recur every year ..)

We are trying to organize this on the Plone evangelism list.
