Position      :       Java Developer
Location     :      Charlotte, NC
Duration     :      12-18 Months contract

 

Minimum Requirements
7+ years hands on Java development experience in server side Core Java
Well-rounded Java application developer, experience in developing industry strength applications with multi threading techniques. 
Experience (5/10) with Spring (or other frameworks like Struts, MVC, Hibernate) and must be able to answer the question on “why” you would use one or the other
Quick learner in a FAST paced development team and environment.
Familiar with Fixed income financial products, trading, and risks; familiar with derivatives trading technology and platforms.

 

Highly desirable skills:
Experience in database development (SQL), JDBC, connection pooling, transactions.
Hibernate experience (need to also know why you would use this technology, and how to utilize it effectively)
Unix/Linux Scripting experience
Calypso experience
Muni Bonds and/or Interest Rate Derivatives market
