Hi all,

due to the high number of people interested I've set up a page:
http://www.coactivate.org/projects/plone-marketing/ploneconf2009-marketing-meeting

the idea is to have it on DAY 3 - Open Space Day starting in the
morning (at 10.00).

Matt will find us some room.

Please add you name if interested.

Cheers,
Francesco.

This time does not allow anyone who isn't attending the conference to
participate, including the marketing team leader Mark Corum. Why not
move this to say 2pm Budapest time in order to get a broader range of
participants and actually learn what the marketing plan entails?

I'd love to share if I had a copy. I do not. This is why you need to
make sure Mark Corum is involved. He has the most recent board
approved copy.

If open spaces is anything like bar camps I've been to there will be a
lot of really interesting short talks given. I suspect marketting is
going to be long and also very interesting. Not sure if others agree
but I'd love to set aside perhaps half a day of the sprint or perhaps
set aside one evening so no other parts of the conference is missed.

yeah, maybe a "marketing dinner" would be a good time to brainstorm and talk about marketing stuff. but i'm open to doing a shorter session during the open space period instead or in addition to.

i'll be pretty busy with the plone video sprint, amberjack sprint and possibly a banjo sprint, so it would be difficult for me to also participate in a marketing sprint, but if that's what the others want to do, i will do my best to be there.

2:00 a.m. MDT -- noooo problem! My permanent jet-lag usually has me up at
that hour anyway. Just check the times on my blog postings for the last
year. :-))

Hi everyone,

for the meeting: http://www.coactivate.org/projects/plone-marketing/ploneconf2009-marketing-meeting

there are 15 people registered but I fear that some others just forgot
(Nate? Matt?)

The last proposal is to move to 4.15 p.m. the meeting so that us
evangelists can remotely join the discussion.

@Mark: will you able to join us? any important topics you would like
us to discuss?

An idea is also to have a small sprint on saturday morning:
possible topics:
* plone.org -> fix the missing links to plone.net, social presence,
planet plone, etc. while
* case studies -> build a template/questionnaire to make it easy for
users to contribute

I added my name to the list.

If the meeting time is going to be changed, the time on the wiki page needs to be updated. just a FYI.

Please clarify -- 10:00 a.m. or 4:15 p.m. Budapest time?

Hi Karl,

I think the consensus was to do it at 10am (in 30 min from now). We'll try to set up a Skype video chat so you can participate. What's your Skype handle? Hope you can make it!
