Subject: Pligg 1.0.0 RC5 Call for Translators
Greetings fellow Pligg users. We will soon be releasing Pligg 1.0.0
and we are in need of your translation skills to provide us with some
new languages for the upcoming release. This email details what you
need to do to contribute your language to Pligg so that it can be
included in the next version.

I've packaged the 3 files that need translated into a single zip file
which can be downloaded using the link at the bottom of this email.
The package contains the lang_english.conf, installer_lang.php and
readme.html files included with the RC5 version of Pligg. The first
two of these files need to be translated in order for them to be
included in the list of available languages, the readme.html file is
optional.

If you are interested in translating Pligg please download the zip
file and take a look at the files, then translate the files. Once you
have translated a file please upload it to the Pligg Translators
Google Group page (http://groups.google.com/group/pligg-translators/)
so that others can check it and approve it. I will be requiring that
at least 2 translators must approve a translated file in order for it
to be included as an official language for Pligg. This is to improve
the accuracy and discourage bad translations from making it to the
official selection.

If you have any other questions please use the Google Group to contact
me or post on the Pligg Forums (http://forums.pligg.com).

Some changes have been made to the Pligg installation language file
today. Please grab the latest translation pack using the link below.
http://pligg-translators.googlegroups.com/web/Pligg_Translation_Pack_...

Alternatively you can access the files individually from the SVN
directly, which will give you the most up to date version of the 2
main language files from:
https://pligg.svn.beanstalkapp.com/pligg/trunk/languages/lang_english...
https://pligg.svn.beanstalkapp.com/pligg/trunk/languages/installer_la...

Another thing that I would like to note is that the ending line in the
lang_english.conf file should NOT be translated (// End 1.0.0 Language
File). It is used as a marker to determine where the 1.0.0 language
file ends and the upgrade will use that marker to insert new language
items in future updates. These updates will be discussed at a later
time when we need translators to provide updates to their languages as
Pligg releases new version.
