Currently, several people are looking into implementations of BASIC
for Playpower, and thus are interested in previous implementations.
We've acquired a copy of the Family BASIC complete with manual from
Ebay, and are looking for volunteers who speak Japanese to help
translate it.

If you are a volunteer who speaks Japanese, or if you know someone who
would be interested in helping the translation effort, please let me
know.

I've found several other sites online who are interested in a
translation, and I'm reaching out to them as well:

http://taylor.veltrop.com/software.php#familybasic already has the
translations right under "English Programming Help"... am I missing
something?

The difference is that Taylor's docs (e.g. fb_grammar.txt) are great
at covering the core of the grammar, but the manual contains ~120
pages of examples, code snippets, labeled diagrams and schematics,
asset maps, etc., none of which I see in Taylor's text files. My
guess looking through it is that some of it would be valuable
reference material if it were translated. Of course, some people here
may want to translate it into languages *other* than English... :)
