[play-framework][2.0.RC2] `play stop`?

According to [1] there should be a `play kill` command that replaces
`play stop`, but there doesn't appear to be such a command? Perhaps
there is another command?

'play stop' work for me on 2.0.RC2 after using 'play start'. Have you tried it?

I don't think that post suggests a 'play kill' command - just that the implementation of 'play stop' is to kill the process.

Can I `play start` without detaching the process?
