Hi,
Is there a possibility to deliver a default .conf file with a module and load it automatically or by including it in application.conf of the Play project using the module?

You mean conf/reference.conf like in
https://github.com/playframework/Play20/wiki/Writing-Modules ?

Yes, but I created a conf/reference.conf and it does not seem to get loaded - is there anything else I need to do?!
