A bigger size of a column in siena anotation

Hi,
how can I define a bigger column size in siena? In JPA it's
@Column(columnDefinition = "TEXT") annotation. Now my String column gets
a size only 256 chars in mysql but need more. I tried anotation
@MaxSize(10000) but they seem not to make any effect. Can anyone help?
