Plastic Bag Free is a place for campaigners and interested parties to come together to discuss issues around making the UK a plastic bag free country.

[We all do this in our spare time, so please help everyone by doing this. It will also just make it much easier to find the answers you are after - Cheers!]

It's not just a plastic litter problem we face....

We encourage all participants to put forth any significant problems, milestones, troublesome stores or handy bag suppliers that they have come across in their quest to make their local community plastic bag free. By sharing this information and experience, we can speed up the process of making the UK a plastic bag free country. To do that, just get involved in the discussions section. Anyone who has an interest in banishing the plastic bag is free to join the discussions and learn from the many plastic bag free campaigners across the UK. 

Those individuals who wish to promote their campaign on here please feel free to create a page with information about your exploits. If you are unsure of how to go about it, there is a short example below which includes the type of things you can do on a group page. It is untitled 'Example of a page - 'Bagtown''. We would love to hear about what you are doing.

The plastic we throw away is also inflicting harm upon marine wildlife.....

Also feel free to upload files of interest - be it pictures, word documents, presentations etc.. Anything you would like to distribute amongst the Plastic Bag Free community. But try to keep the size of your files down - we do have a quota!
