email reminder validation

Hi

Would it be possible to implement a validation routine for the email
reminder to prevent people from entering other peoples emails?

I was thinking an initial email with an authorization link in it - to
verify that the person owns the email they entered.

Hi,

A validation routine is a good idea. I assume you've had problems
with people entering incorrect emails?

Are you submitting this as a feature request for other folks to work
on, or are you looking for tips on where to start to implement it
yourself?
