Plan 8.1.4 not working on IE8 ...nor is upcoming events

I have installed, reinstalled 10 times. I am running plans 8.1.4 on
Linux server (Rhel5). Plans runs and works on a PC pointing to it via
Firefox, meaning I can add, delete, etc. I can't RIGHT CLICK in IE8,
IE8 basically does not work.

Also, the only way upcoming events are seen in a page is if I
completely delete all files in THEME, redownload a new THEME .zip
file. But the, FireFox stops working.

I have used PLANS for years (earlier versions).

A couple things to check:

- Does IE8 complain about any javascript errors?

- Do you see the same behavior on the Plans demo site?

Little bit off topic, I update 7.x for latest version 8.1.5. Firefox
it worki fine, but IE users can't open or edit events. It give
Javascript error messaga (down left for browser). I try translate
error message for you if it help. You can see calender url for error
message. Thanks for great program, sadly too many use IE...

When I view the DEMO site it works fine. I am running Plans off our Intranet running RHEL WS 5, I use XAMPP which contains my web server, PHP, mysql.  Like I said, Firefox works fine.  If you can think of what files to check to trouble-shoot that would really help.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay - I just returned from vacation. I did find an
IE-specific syntax issue in plans.js. This may be the source of your
problem. The just-released version 8.1.6 fixes it.

Can you replace your plans.js with the 8.1.6 version and let me know
the results?
