I have loved Plans for years, but it is clearly time to move on and I
need advice on what to move to. There are TONS of calendars out
there. I would prefer something really simple, with the ability to
have a dozen or so calendars in one interface for scheduling, and dead
simple operation. But it also needs to be fully unicode-compliant. I
love the flat-file non-SQL option for the data, but could migrate to
MySQL if needed.
For those interested - in addition to Plans' no longer being
developed, two main triggers are pushing me to finally make the
switch:
-Plans 8.+ is not unicode-compliant, and does not fudge well, so
Chinese simply won't work well - especially when editing an event.
-Plans 7.10; to which I tried to fall back to this month because
Chinese works much better on it, even though fudging and not actually
in Unicode; is throwing tons of javascript errors relating to dd/mm/
yyyy date formats.
The Plans website has a couple dozen suggestions, can anyone pare them
down to 2-3? Thanks loads!
-Edward
