New Calendars not creating- 7.9.9

Hi Lloyd-

I've finally gotten around to updating from 7.6.3 to 7.9.9. The barage
of spam new calendars (some unpleasant) forced the issue. I found that
I couldn't create any new calendars, but the fix in this post made it
work:

Changing line 2110 in plans.cgi <input id="as" name="as" type="hidden"
value=""/> to value="$rightnow"

Before the "fix", I notice there is an error right when posting the
new calendar form. There error is only there while the post is
processing:
