• If the app is crashing on launch: Turn on Airplane mode, and unlink
the app from Dropbox (it won't crash on launch now). Turn off Airplane
mode, go back to the app, and relink to Dropbox.

On the iPhone or iPad, when I select a .txt file in Dropbox and select the "Open in" command, Plaintext is one of the choices. That's not true when I select an .rtf document. I assumed this App worked like Quickoffice..... As in when you create a link between the 2, Dropbox content is automatically shown in Quickoffice and vica versa...(and yes So, when linking my Dropbox to Plaintext, why doesn't the Dropbox content show in Plaintext ???? I've been using PlainText for a few weeks now -- beats the pants off the app I was using before. One request: many of my notes are kind of long. To get back to the list of notes from the bottom of a long note, it seems like the quickest way is to tap the status bar, which scrolls to the top, then hit the "back" button.... more »

I am still trying to edit and add text files to my original "Drop Box". When I try to use 'PlainText', the original text file is unchanged ?!?? What I now have is a new text file in 'plaintext' !!
