Hello,

I recently upgraded to the newest version of the software and noticed one odd change that I'd like to be able to stop.

I sort my files by modified date so that my most recently changed files in a given folder are on top. Since the update, if I choose a file to read (not to edit, modify or otherwise update), even if it's an old file from months ago, PlainText (or perhaps Dropbox?) treats the file as modified and so moves it to the top of the list. (And I see that on my Windows desktop the file's Modified date is changed to the present as well.)

I can see how this feature could be useful if what I wanted was to sort my files by most recently READ, and perhaps this is an option to offer in future updates. However, what I want to do is to sort by most recently MODIFIED. I have a few files that I frequently modify and so I like to have them at the top of the list. There are other files (usually reference material) that I might consult occasionally, so I do NOT want them pushed to the top.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks.
