Notes: A day/night session, staring in daylight and ending in darkness. Track changes have
slowed
lap times by nearly 5s. The session was red-flagged from 18.41-18.52 to recover Romain
Grosjean's
Renault, which hit the wall at Turn 17 - a bit of deja vu there!
Track conditions were very dusty and with quite a lot of debris several drivers had spins.
Brawn
(with one-off Canon sponsorship), Red Bull, and McLaren almost filled the top six places,
except
for the Renault of Fernando Alonso, sans ING & MM logos, which ended fourth fastest.
