Telnet'owanie GMail POP3 - dziwne zachowanie

Witam.

Czy to normalne że POP3 GMail automatycznie usuwa pocztę po jej pobraniu.
Oto moja sesja telnet:

Na innych POP3 (interia, o2) jeżeli jawnie nie usune maila poprzez DELE id
po RETR id to zostaje on w kolejce. Czy na GMail można wymusiać takie
zachowanie?

https://mail.google.com/mail/ → Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → POP
download → When messages are accessed with POP → Keep Gmail's copy in the
Inbox.
