Is it possible to insert a quicktime movie? If I change to HTML Mode
and try to insert a quicktime movie it works the first time and then
Tiny MCE strips the embed-tag Is there a way that it keeps the embed
tag

If you look at admin/jscript/tiny_mce/tiny_mce_setup.js.php, you can
look at line 55 or so and on for a list of valid elements. You could
make sure that the tag and attribute(s) you want to use are in that
list. There is also a way to switch modes for Tiny_MCE to/from (X)HTML
but you would have to search this out ... I am not sure where to
change this setting.

P.S. "As of HTML 4.01, the EMBED element is deprecated in favor of the
OBJECT element."

You can read about the Tiny MCE settings for this here:

http://wiki.moxiecode.com/index.php/TinyMCE:Configuration/valid_elements

As it stands, it forces an XHTML strict ruleset - at some stage we
will probably have to move towards HTML5 which will be a great deal
more forgiving to code placed in the editor.
