Hi :)

I've been trying to sort out my timezone problem ... it's very quiet
here at the moment ... you're probably busy.

First I tried an mysql query (SET GLOBAL time_zone = '+0:00';) Either
I got the syntax wrong, or my host wouldn't allow it
ie. mysql server

I already tied the putenv() fixes from the code (SVN), but that made
it worse and messed up my log timestamps.

I've got it working for the time being by hacking dynamic.php:

ie. took out the 'and posted < now()' conditionals

:-D

We can do better than that, I'm sure ...
Looking forward to some replies ...

Hi again :)

Actually, there's an error in my last post, I tried mysql query:

("SET time_zone = '0:00' ") and it didn't work ( or appeared not
to! ) .. that should set the seesion variable rather than the global
var. according to the mysql docs.

My host uses MySQL ver. -> 5.0.8-community .. any ideas?

Hi Isa
how are you getting on with the problem? I just posted a reply to your
other thread:

Lets keep timezone discussion there - it makes it easier for me to
follow :)
