Hi,

New User to Pixie and it looks promising with good potential.

Currently, with the dynamic content and links pages, tags are required
when adding content. However, would it be possible for tags to be
optional - for instance, you may want a links page that doesn't have
that many links on (so no need for categories). There also may only be
one type of news added to a site (just 'site news'), thus making the
tags redundant.

The only other way round that, is to just have a static page that is
then edited - although it means there is a chance of content being
removed accidentally, when you only want someone to add news or links.

Hi Sam
You should be able to do this with a quick tweak of the database, any
field set to "NOT NULL" in the database will be required by Pixie. If
you use something like phpMyAdmin to edit the database you should be
able to remove both of these required fields. You can find the tags
for dynamic pages in the "pixie_dynamic_posts" table and the
"pixie_module_links" table for the links module. Let me know if you
need it explaining a little better.
