Hi ,
recently installed Pixie - im no expert for the following matter ,
ive bumped into it and thought of giving it a try - looks like a down
to earth - easy to manage CMS system.
but - for some reason whenever i write a post in hebrew - i get
'??????' , i dont know if its a database encoding issue or just
incompatability ,
would appriciate some help :)

Hi M0tek
We have had lots of problems with Pixie and supporting other
languages. Essentially struggling with UTF-8 and encoding characters
for URLS etc. At the moment I do not think Pixie will do it.

If you search these forums for UTF-8 you should find some related
info.

Hey Scott , thanks for the quick info
too bad i bought some hosting from pixie (well ur affiliates) before
checking issues with UTF8 :(
i still appriciate the nice effort put into this beatufilly simple cms
system

it wont be fair , but can you suggest other open source cm's that will
do the job?
thanks!

Hi m0tek :)

If you check back over the next few days, you might find that pixie
developers can help you with this issue ..
Perhaps you shouldn't give up too quickly ..
Any more info on the problem might be useful:
Version of MySql / Php on server .. your browser version / type etc.

Hi Arik
That is very interesting as I have not had any referrals from our
affiliates.... I have only ever had two from Arvixe and these were
some months ago. I am wondering is they are on the fiddle :/ - it
would be good to know more about this.

Also please stick around & supply us with more info about your setup
as you might be able to help us improve Pixie.
