I have two engine crates in my shop in the Atlanta area, built by Barrett's.  It's a shame to throw them away, they are nice crates, if anyone wants them come and get them.

Doug,

Had the cowl off time flies yesterday.

Thought this might help.

Larry,

Is that a epm.AV cabin heat valve connected to a heat muff on Kimball exhaust? If so how'd you guys get the heat muff, I thought they weren't available.

Darin,

That is the EPM AV valve and it is the last system we got with a muff.  We had heat muffs available at the time we started collecting parts of this airplane.

While we are on the subject, would like to also know the source and model of the FW cabin heater box.

It was a company called epm.av, their website used to be
http://www.epm-avcorp.com/

But it doesn't appear to be alive anymore

Well hopefully it will be available by the time I eventually get closer to flying. Otherwise it shouldn't be too big a deal to put the the valve in then remove it and cover the hole with a block-off plate if need be.

Aircraft spruce also has cabin heater ducts. I think they are the ones that you are looking for.
