Events this weekend

Good morning folks.

Tomorrow is the second anniversary party for our friends at Cup and
Top Cafe in the center of Florence (http://cupandtop.com). We've
loved having Helen and her crew in town and they've hosted some
wonderful family musicians (and more are to come). I've pasted the
schedule for this week's event at the bottom of this e-mail.

Also tomorrow is our premiere on 93.9 The River, from 7 to 9 AM. It's
sort of a soft launch -- they're doing more promotion for the show
next week -- but we'll be on. It's a fun show, too, though I think we
sound a little nervous (um because we were). The same show will air
on 103.3 Valley Free Radio from 8 to 10 AM, assuming the automation
computer works.

And tomorrow at 5, local kids' band the Pop Rockets are playing at the
Holyoke Children's Museum. We're working on getting them back on the
show now that we have a studio that can fit them better.

Other things to note on your calendar: Rock 'n' Romp Boston (2/24 -
note corrected date), Dan Zanes in Amherst (2/29), Pop Stars @ Cup &
Top (3/8), Princess Katie & Racer Steve @ Lyman Hall/First Churches
(also 3/8, 1:30), Raise the Roof benefit for First Churches roof @
Calvin (4/6). Reminders of all will come; you can also check out the

Here's the schedule for the Cup & Top event tomorrow:

10am: Northampton's Elena Ciampa and Russ Nieman perform spanish &
latin music for the kids!

1pm - 3pm: Rhymes with Orange cartoonist Hilary Price book signing!

4pm - 6pm: Art Opening for Cummington Artist Leni Fried with live
music by Cummington's Radio Free Earth!

Also, we will unveil the whimsical mural that Leni painted for the
cafe playspace!

First 100 kids get a balloon!

Prizes and giveaways!

Free Cake!
