Anybody knows the charge for VMAT calculation and device for Pinnacle? Based on arc number? 1 arc 1 cal and 1 device?

Since Eclipse can create partial plans so it can create 5 to 10 partial plans for Radcal verification, it can charge more than 1 cal even only have 1 arc for example I heard. Thanks!

Thanks!
I am asking about rapid arc billing for dose calculation. For imart, if 7 beams, then 7 calculations. But Rapid arc if i arc, only charge 1 calculation?

That’s correct.  And it’s based on the delivery, not breaking it up into smaller arcs for verification (that, I believe, has resulted in some medicare fraud convictions).

RapidArc reduces the charges for 77300 to one.  The MLC charges have already been reduced via the MLC for IMRT charge, which is only one/plan, for the last couple of years.
