Due to the new hardcore anti-spam initiative we're working on, we've
disabled several Wordpress plugins that only were a vehicle for
spammers to use on their non-blogs. We understand that some folks are
using the plugins legitimately and apologize for the service
interruptions with the blocked API keys.
We've enabled a few plugins that have the most legit activity from
what we noticed.
Shorten2Ping
WPing.FM
Feel free to hook these plugins up to your blog and continue to post
through the API. We are investigating more and should have a couple
more enabled as an option as well.
The high spam traffic plugins will not be re-enabled for a bit while
we attack the source of the spam garbage.
Thanks for your patience, and as always, never hesitate to post your
questions or comments here.

Since we are talking about wordpress plugin, I'm planning to add feature to allow post blog to other blogs. Right now, it's only posting to social networks.
Is it allowed?

Unfortunately there were some migration problems from the old Ping.fm team to the current Seesmic team that were sorted not as fast as we would have all hoped for.
We have disabled adding new applications a while ago and I'm not really sure what are the plans for these during the next few months, but what I can promise you is that we have started working on making ping.fm a bit more reliable thanks to our experience and codebase in various Seesmic applications.
