Export by Tag/Bulk "Copy to mine"

Hi there. I wanted to export some of my pinboard bookmarks, but not
all. Is there a way to export by tag?

I also have a friend who has bookmarked several pages for me in her
account. I want to add them all to my pinboard account (there are
about 10). Is there a way to "copy to mine" without doing each one
individually? I guess one workaround would be something like the
"bookmark for:userx" feature that delicious had, but that seems
counter intuitive to pinboard. Basically, I am looking down the road
for a way to help her with bookmarking.

You can export by tag like this:

https://pinboard.in/export/format:xml/?tag=foo

There's no way to do this within Pinboard. It's possible someone has
written a plugin or extension for it.

I am still getting the entire feed.

ex: I replace 'foo' with 'concrete' (the tag I want to export) and I get everything. I checked to see that am logged in.

You can also export using the API https://pinboard.in/api#posts_all, 

e.g.

https://api.pinboard.in/v1/posts/all?auth_token=user:NNNNNN&tag=foo&tag=bar&format=xml

Thank you. We were able to export to an xml file by tag using the API. She needs it in html format which I believe the API does  not do. Any workarounds?

Not sure if you're comfortable with the command line and / or Python, but I've written a script that exports your Pinboard bookmarks marked with a specific tag to HTML format.
