I love that Pinboard can mirror my Delicious account, since there are
situations in which it's easier for me to post to Delicious than
Pinboard (say when posting from NetNewsWire). But I don't like that
everything imported has that 'from:delicious' tag - could this be
optional, so that those who don't want it can turn it off easily. Or
would this be as easy as just deleting the 'from:delicious' tag every
now and then?

I am having second thoughts about overloading the tag system with
"from:delicious", "from:twitter" and so on. Instead, I will add an
origin field to the bookmarks table, so the information is preserved
without polluting anyone's tag cloud.

For the time being, I'd appreciate it if you left the from: tags in
place, so I can properly update the origin field when I fix things
up. I'll nuke the various from: tags once that's ready.

I'm sorry - I didn't see this reply until now, and I've already gone
in and deleted those tags. I shall cease and desist and leave them in
place from now on.

Your solution sounds like a very good one.

Thanks for being such an active developer! I only wish someone would
start using the API so that it'd be a little easier to add bookmarks
from other apps...
