Hi,

I'm a huge fan of pinboard.  I signed up when it was first announced in the comment thread about the possible
del.icio.us shutdown, and have been using it ever since.

A while back I decided to pay for the full-text search and archives of all my pinboarded content.  I'm in love with
the full-text search feature.  It's something I've wanted to be able to do easily across my bookmarks for years.

I just started playing with the API, hoping that I'd have programatic access to the cached copy of the
web pages I've bookmarked, but it doesn't seem to be available.

I noticed that a cached url endpoint for a pinboarded page is very nearly a substring of the
hashed string provided by the API, but some of the bytes at the end don't match.

Are there plans for API access for cached content?  Is there some programatic way I can compute it from
the hash provided by the API?

Thanks,

--mvv

I don't have any plans to offer API access to cached links. I'm not
against the idea in principle, but there are much more urgent
extensions to the API that have to come first (support for tweets,
notes, search, tab sets and so on).
