Street Movies! presented by PNC Arts Alive
2012 Call for Entries
Deadline: Friday, May 18 2012

Scribe Video Center is seeking short films and videos (under 30
minutes) for the its Street Movies! 2012 program, now in its 15th
year. Scribe Video Center partners with community organizations to
present up to 13 free outdoor screenings of short films in diverse
neighborhoods in Philadelphia and Camden. The screenings will also
include live performances (musicians, poets, dancers) and discussion
of the films facilitated by a professional emcee. All events are free
and open to the public.

We are looking for works that will appeal to our diverse audiences.
Works in all disciplines (including animated, fiction, documentary,
experimental) will be considered, with special emphasis works that
explore the art and social change, new immigrants, education and
educational reform, healthy foods, green(er) modes of transportation
and energy, environmental justice, works that give voice to community
elders, and youth and student produced work. Selected works will
receive a rental fee or an honorarium.

For consideration, send a DVD copy of your film or a link (if it is
online) and a cover letter with the title, total running time, year of
production, director, stills, distributor, and a brief synopsis to:
