Join us August 3rd at Mixed Plate on South Street to kick off this year's 21-Day Filmmaking Competition! Hundred of filmmakers, actors, writers, artists and enthusiasts flock to this FREE event for the opportunity to join forces, win raffles and enjoy food and beverages. The event culminates with the reveal of this year's "Secret Element" that all films must include. Don't miss out!

PIFVA Cinema Speakeasy Event- June 8th & June 12th
The Philadelphia Film and Video Association collaborated with Project Twenty1, and Philadelphia QFest to host their monthly cinema speakeasy at L'Etage. The event screened festival favorites such as No Regrets(2011), Looking For...(2009), and Anna (2011). Anna, created by Team 2.40:1 screened at the Project 21 film festival in 2011! Special thanks goes out to all of the filmmakers and supporters that came to last night's event!

 TLA Entertainment founded the Philadelphia International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival in 1995. In 2009, the festival joined the newly-formed Philadelphia Cinema Alliance and beginning with the 2009 festival, changed and shortened its name Philadelphia QFest. This festival, one of the leading GLBT film festivals in the country,is presented annually in July.
 The Philadelphia Film and Video Association is a membership organization started by filmmakers whose mission is to strengthen, promote and serve Philadelphia's independent media community through programs which provide opportunities to learn, mentor, produce and screen work, advocate for the community and network.
