My deepest apologies to all who have been waiting for PICkit2 firmware version
2 support in pk2. I had intended to have the code complete some time ago, but
additional duties have prevented me from doing much work on the code.

So I've decided to take an unprecedented step and make the current alpha code
available to the public. You can download the source code at

It has been tested with some PIC devices, mostly midrange, and found to work,
but undoubtedly has problems with some other families or devices. Please
report any problems you find. I'll make a note of them, but very likely won't
be able to do much about them until near the end of the year.
