I've noticed posts from some of you saying that you're seeing
duplicate albums when using the sync feature. I wanted to explain a
bit more on why this might happen.

I can't login and upload

Everything was OK until recently when suddenly I couldn't login and
upload my pics to the webalbums. I've tried all steps described in the
Help (reinstall/switch off firewall, setup IE, reinstall Picasa,
upgrade Picasa, reinstall browser (FF3), contact help desk...).

Small [134x170] png images not showing

I've set up a folder for Picasa to hold my images in that
is set to automatically scan & update. Currently there
are four .png images present, two large and two small
ones roughly the size stated. Interestingly enough the
bigger ones show up in the Picasa 3 window, while
the other small ones are nowhere to be found. Also... more »

missing photos

I'm having the same problem that some other folks have mentioned - did
the picasa 3 download (but my computer froze and I had to do a hard
close) and when it reopened, no Picasa 2 Icon, no pictures, no
folders, no albums - nothing, What the heck can I do

Picasa missing after the update

Two days ago as I was working on something else I got a message that
Picasa had an update. I'm not even sure if it asked me to update or it
did it automatically. Now, today I tried to find Picasa, which is
usually an icon on my desktop, and it is no where to be found. I

Normal thumbnail view broken - others fine

Just downloaded and installed Picasa 3 - my first experience with
Picasa. Everything seemed fine when first installed yesterday,
including normal thumbnail view. Today I open up Picasa, and normal
thumbnail view only shows broken pics(links I guess). Small thumbnail
and large size thumbnails are fine.... more »

Picasa 3 has lost all my 2008 pictures!

Help-!" how do I get back to picassa 2? I upgraded to v3 and it has
lost all my 2008 pictures, plus my albums are empty. How stupid was I
not to back them up.
I need an answer to this - does Google actually answer these questions
or does it just leave us to flounder together??

Collage NOT saving

I've made few collages. I push the button "create collage" but just
the button blinking without any effect. If I close the collage it is
mentioned that a draft is saved in "Collage" folder.. BUT
There are NO "Projects" collection and "Collages" folders were the
collages to be saved.
And the collages created are not saving.... more »

RAW Photo's too bright !

Posted messages in past asking if anyone knows how to stop Picassa
automatically brightening pictures, results in all white being badly
blown out ( so bad that cant use Picassa which is a great shame as it
is so quick and easy to use) Noticed Picassa 3 so downloaded hoping

Picasa 3 modified my "captions"...

I just updated to Picasa 3 and all my captions have been modified.
I had found a way around to copy paste my caption from an Excel
Spreadsheet, so all the information I needed were underneath the
picture and separated by a dot instead of the line in Excel. Now all
the dots are gone and the words are spreading without any sense. How... more »
