Next Tuesday 6:30pm, PHXdata @ gangplank : census data and tilemill

Next tuesday, our PHXdata workshop will be on visualising census data
using tilemill ( http://mapbox.com/tools/tilemill ).

Arizona's census data is due out this week, which will give us lots of
interesting examples!

Tilemill is a tool for creating both basemaps and raster overlays for
maps, using shapefiles for datasets and carto stylesheets, which are
very similar in nature to CSS, for styling. This session will be
suitable for techs and designers (and possibly even technically minded
journalists/gov people).
