Hi Andre. I'm definitely interested. We've also noticed that a lot of
regular visitors think that we (Phusion) are the operators behind
whatever site they're visiting that happens to be displaying an error
page. It would be great if a new error page has the following
properties:
1. It looks beautiful. ;)
2. It's developer friendly. It's even newbie-developer friendly. A
developer who just got into Ruby must be able to quickly figure out
what's wrong.
3. It's visitor friendly. They would know that what they're seeing
indicates a technical problem, not a hacking attempt. They would not
think that Phusion is the website's operator, but any sufficiently
knowledgable visitor would know that the operator uses Phusion
Passenger.
Do you think you're up for this challenge? I would love to see a
mockup. I would also like to say in advance that any artwork we accept
must be CC BY or similarly licensed.
