mediainfo gem

Just realized that passenger is the source of my error, better late
then never :-)
Got this in my environment.rb:
config.gem 'mediainfo'
As soon I put "Mediainfo.new" somewhere in the controller or in a
model I get this error:
NoMethodError in TestController#index
undefined method `<' for nil:NilClass

Never had something like this, didn't used script/server since
passenger is installed ^^
But if i test this thing in the console or with Webrick everything
works as expected.
Absolutely no idea how to fix this error or get this working, feels
like I tried everything :-)
Maybe somebody has an idea, would be great.
