deleting restart.txt causes passenger to restart

Hi,

I noticed after we upgraded to Ruby 1.9.3p125, passenger restarts when the restart.txt file gets deleted or disappears (e.g. when capistrano symlinks in the newest release).  This is on passenger 3.0.11 running lucid.

Are you saying the problem is that it restarts before Capistrano re-creates the sym link?  Because you want passenger to restart when you do a Capistrano deployment.

I've seen this before also.  If it checks while the file is missing it will restart and the restart again once the file is recreated.  We keep restart files outside of our deploy directory to avoid the problem.
