Hi All,

Im looking for Junior PHP devs to join my newly formed company.

Its going to be a Digital Agency... Hopefully lots of different
projects to sink your teeth into.

You'll need to know PHP, MySQL as a minimum.

Anything else you can bring to the table would be great.

Salary is negotiable, with options to join company health plan and
pension scheme.

What further information can you give on the company you are starting, you seem very vague in what you say. What projects have you done already?

I left it reasonably vague on purpose I'm afraid.

The company is a Digital Agency providing online solutions, standard
stuff. CMS, Ecommerce, CRM , etc... We have been trading since October

I have been working in the industry for 10 years now and have worked
with a companies to provide a wide range of solutions to varying sized
clients and have gotten to a point where the best option was to set up
the company.

Im working mainly with Silverstripe, Magento and custom builds in Zend
Framework but willing to consider any solution that fits a clients
requirements.

As it stands the company consists of just myself at the moment but Im
looking to expand it out now due to the workload I have on.

I'm looking for 1 or 2 junior devs to come on board with me who will
be able to grow their skills and position as the company grows.

Some examples of sites I have been working on recently are

In terms of what I am looking for I'm quite open to any level of
developer. Most of all i want a candidate to have talent, a good work
ethic and be someone i feel i can trust to do the work needed.

Any candidate must however have a knowledge of PHP 5.x, MySQL 5.x and
a grasp of basic OOP design principles, I'm happy to train someone up
to increase/improve their skill set if I feel they are someone who
fits the bill.

If your able to bring more to the table then thats great.

Hi Marc... 

In terms of experience I would like at least a years experience of PHP and MySQL. It doesnt have to be commercial as long as you can show your skill level with.

We are based in Manchester about half a mile from the airport.

Ideally i would like people to be onsite but im not ruling out a telecommute for exceptional candidates.

You still haven't mentioned what the company is called, or what its
website is (guessing by your email, it might be www.zucchi.co.uk, but
there is no information on that other than a mobile number and email
address).

You are correct in the website.

As it stands I haven't had time to actually build my website due to the volume of work i have been dealing with. Fingers crossed I will get some time of the holidays to actually build it.

There is very little public visibility of the company at the moment as right now its a one man band, and all the work i have been getting is by word of mouth. so it is of little relevance right now until January when hopefully someone (or ones) will be joining me.

For reference though the Company is called Zucchi Ltd (thats Zucchi as in Zucchini) (pron: Zoo Key) and the url is http://zucchi.co.uk although as you say there is pretty mush nothing there other than a holding page right now.

Some other useful tidbits. 

The company is based in Manchester about half a mile from the airport, Im a taurus, my favorite colour is green and i like romantic candle lit dinners and moonlight walks along the beach
