SOLR PHP Plugin with Multiple Indices

I think I've worked it out. I'm usine the multiple languages example
from the cookbook. So I'll access it with:
$solr = new Apache_Solr_Service('localhost', 8081, '/solr/en/');
where en is the name of the core.

Is it possible to use this plugin with a SOLR instance using multiple
indices?
How would you tell SOLR which index to use when adding documents or
searching?

I'm glad you were able to work it out, I wasn't around to see your

I think its a great question and answer to have available on the
