Yes, it should be. None of the formats, parameters, or URLs used directly by the client on your behalf should have changed. If you have any issues, please bring them up on the list.
You should see the associated Changes.txt files since your current Solr version for notes on any parameters or extra response bits you may be using in code that may have changed (there should be very few).
