Hi.


The php-maven project contains a section called "featured projects". With it we aim to provide a platform for things we feel as best practices for php projects. A featured project will have to follow some conventions. Autoloading as covered in PSR-0 is only one topic I would to work (or accept as our best-practice requirements).

In php-maven we would be able to provide build tools and verification tools to follow some of the PSR-Specifications in future. And there may be other things we would like to work on. At the moment we are thinking of an extension to the phar standard. With it, frameworks should be able to detect how to handle phar-files, for example where the classes are located, how the auto-loading is established etc. I do have some more ideas in mind :-)


Hoping to work with you to provide a huge, well-working and accepted set of specifications.
