Recently Valerie (Your Waitress) let us know via Twitter that she
would be in NYC in early May. Those of us who met up in Chicago a
couple of years ago remember what a blast we had and plans we made for
meeting in NY last year. Alas, that meetup never jelled.
Anyway, a few of us are wondering if we can pull together a mini-NAP
meetup on May 9 in the City.
Just a little swell of interest so far. If you are in the City, or if
you can BE in the City on May 9, reply here and we can begin to make
better plans.
Devyn (24Gotham) is interested and those of us in Chicago know what a
great guide he was for our photowalking.
just for the record this is not an official nap (north american
photobloggers) meet up. i'm just coming to nyc
and am hoping to meet up with some of my friends/photobloggers. i'm
not sure it warrants being discussed
here per se.

and i will let you know the itinerary when i have finalized it. i
have a rock star planner working on it
for me.
there will probably be an official nap 2009 meetup this fall
hopefully in the beautiful city of philadelphia.
i'm sure everyone will get enough notice to plan their trip for that.

Hey Joe (and any other photobloggers interested in joining),
We are meeting up at the Gonk, The Algonquin Hotel, in the lobby at noon
next Saturday, May 9. There are about 10 of us so far. We will be doing a
photo walk, stopping by the ICP and searching for the perfect martini.
If anyone else who hasn't confirmed is coming, please let me know ASAP.
