I've been working on another project and wanted to share...

Since launching Flak Photo, I've been inspired by the Web's potential to
promote the arts, share ideas and develop a new kind of photographic
community. In that spirit, Flak Photo is teaming up with Blurb to give away
a free pass to two of their Blurb Photography Book Reviews + Workshops
taking place in Chicago and London next week. Details online at:

My aim with this giveaway is to connect interested photographers in the
online photography community with a free opportunity that contributes to
their personal image-making. The deadline is this FRI, JUN 17 at 12 PM so
time is pretty tight.

If you like the idea, I'm hoping you'll tell friends, students and
colleagues in your photo community about this opportunity - a personal email
or Facebook share would be a quick and easy way to get the word out to the
right people. And if you blog or Twitter about photography or participate in
online forums + social networks, that'd be a good place to post a note too.

Take a look and let me know what you think - this project is a bit of an
experiment and I'm curious to see how it shapes up.
