I wanted to get aus.photobloggers.org setup but I've emailed Brandon three times now in the last month or so and I have never gotten a reply. Anybody got any ideas?
Brandon is one busy dude. Im sure his email inbox is just jammed packed everyday and it's easy for things to slip by. The discussion list is probably the best way though. He'll reply back as soon as he can I am sure.

Brandon won't set up an aus.photobloggers.org address. Only cities allowed:

I'd be interested in taking part in an aus.photobloggers.org community, but brisbane.photobloggers.org? I can think of two - me and Rob at neverhappen.com.
You'd be surprised at the number of folks who come out of the woodwork, or even start photoblogging once there is a community setup. You can always go with the capital or perhaps just whatever major city has the most folks interested in setting this up, and allow folks from across the country to take part, until other cities create their own groups. For example, London.Photobloggers.org is really open to anyone within the UK, but should someone want to create an Oxford.Photobloggers.org at least the option is there.
Yeah... Sorry folks... Due to the large amount of email I get, I'm not able to answer it all as quickly as I'd like to. I'm in the process of finding someone to help me expand the Photobloggers.org groups and take charge of some of these things for me.
In the meantime, I'll do my best to respond personally. I'm going to look at some of the other emails in this thread now and try to answer everyone's questions.

nsw.photobloggers.org, which could include the ACT (Canberra)
vic.photobloggers.org
qld.photobloggers.org
tas.photobloggers.org
wa.photobloggers.org
nt.photobloggers.org
tas.photobloggers.org
There's a bit of a funny division here between rural and city folks, Sydney and the rest of N.S.W, it's 1700km from Cairns to Brisbane, 1165km from Sydney to Broken Hill etc etc.
I'm looking forward to theupstairsapartmentofthehouseacrossthestreetfromtheseminary.photobloggers. org. I will RULE IT! The people downstairs will just have to wait until thedownstairsapartmentofthehouseacrossthestreetfromtheseminary.photoblogger s.org is created.

I like it. I think its a good way for people to see who else is interested in their city. There is one little thing that is nagging me about that page.... let me think.... oh yeah. Houston's missing! LOL! :-)

Indeed... The whole wiki philosophy relies on everyone chipping in to keep the pages up to date and accurate. Sometimes it's impossible for me to keep track of everything, so I rely on help from everyone.
Looks like you were able to add Houston in there, Laanba. That's exactly the right thing to do. :)
I think we can use the wiki to help with a lot more of this administrative stuff that has been taking up much of my time. If we get a few more volunteers here and there, they can really help to clean things up and get us where we need to be.
