Updating Phonegap

Hey guys, when I went to update the PhoneGap for your newer version to
1.7.0, which works as the upgrade process? since I installed the sdk
again and when I create the project in xcode, the js file that it
creates is the old 1.3.0 version I had, as I do to upgrade it, someone
could give me a hand? thank you.

Install phonegap, create a new project in xcode -- it'll have the new 1.7 files. Include the same plugins & configuration steps and move over your www directory. Not easy, but not terribly hard -- just tedious, esp if you have a lot of plugins.

Do be sure to verify the state of the plugins before you move -- make sure they support 1.7.

thanks for answering, when I install the new PhoneGap 1.7 and still
run it with the previous version of the js file, what should I do?

I always uninstall phonegap before installing the new one
