I made a few basic Android apps by converting my html files using
Phonegap.

Now I want to do the same for iOS.

I am using Windows 7. Is there a way to make iOS app using Phonegap
on Windows?
The htmls to be converted are basic plain htmls.

Thanks.

The only way to do this would be through build.phonegap.com.

You can make an iOS version of your Android app on Win7 using basic
HTML, then use build.phonegap.com to make the .ipa file. You can then
use iTunes on your Windows PC to test the .ipa on any iOS device you
have. However, you'll need a Mac to actually upload the file to Apple
for approval. Annoying, but Apple's out to sell hardware, not
services. As has been said, you can either buy a Mac Mini (as they are
the cheapest), or you can google for ways to install OSX as a virtual
machine on your current computer.

Tim, I believe we use the Mac because it shares the same operating system as the software they're using on their end. :) It's just good sense. If one does not have a Mac, one can use http://www.appstoreuploader.com/home (I have not tried this service).

Steve
