I'm using the current version of the iAd Plugin for Cordova and have not been successful in getting a Test Ad to show up.

I have not changed the code except for the event handler 'onclick' to 'onTouchStart' for the "showAdClicked(this);" event. For me, my iPad is not responding to the 'onclick' event handler.

I'm not getting any build errors, but I am getting this error in the console:

2012-05-18 16:10:25.682 iAd Demo[239:707] [INFO] Error Domain=ADErrorDomain Code=3 "The operation couldn’t be completed. Ad inventory unavailable" UserInfo=0x3aaa90 {ADInternalErrorCode=3, NSLocalizedFailureReason=Ad inventory unavailable}

From what I understand, these errors are deliberate from Apple? At least I know that it's communicating with the iAd network.

I'm pretty comfortable with installing plugins as I have four already in my project. I thought that maybe some code was clashing, so I created an iAd Demo project, but I have the exact same problems.

Also, there is absolutely no consistency to how the iPad or simulator will react. For instance, the iPad does not always respond to the 'onTouchStart' event handler. I understand that this may have nothing to do with the plugin, but I'm just trying to find a solution or see if I'm missing something.

In my iTunes Connect iAd module it is showing that my app is receiving test ads.

I'm building with: Xcode 4.3.2, iOS 5.1 (I haven't upgraded to 5.1.1 yet. HELL NO!), Cordova 1.6.1

I had the same problem. Once I deleted the app and redeployed again,
it worked.

Thanks for your answer, but I've tried that already.

Anyone having any issues with the iAd network since Apple released iOS 5.1.1? I was going through the developer forums on the Apple site, and it seems that Apple halted ads (even test ads) when the new iPad was released.
