[Ann] N900 (Maemo) port

PhoneGap now runs on Maemo operating system which keeps ticking inside
Nokia's new N900 god phone.

I suggest you stop consider buying those iPhones and take a look on

Hey

I don't buy those iPhones (Android maintainer here),  but the n900 doesn't seem to do HSPA up here in Canada, otherwise, I'd be all over it.  I'll take a look at the source and I'll try it out.

Yeah us canadians and our second class country don't get the cool
phones until long after they are released if at all. Congrats on the
port Mikko --- if you'd like we'd love to add it to the official repo
at github.com/phonegap/phonegap

Just fork and send a pull request / we'll add you to the
phonegap/phonegap account so you can keep the changes pushing to the
official bits.

Hey,

Us Finns don't get your cool Blackberry devices at all :) Think Nokia
as RIM of the Finland :) (This is actually a real problem if the
customer asks for for a Blackberry device...)

Ok, I'll ask Jussi to make the pull request, after he has fixed the
accelerometer code.

I forgot to mention this earlier....

In long term Nokia will move everything to QT platform. Series 60 QT
support is not yet good enough, but in 2010 phone generation it should
be stable enough to run QT applications. This means that we can
actually use the same source code for Maemo and Series 60 and replace
(the closed) Nokia web run-time with more compatible and more open
implementation.
