Included Android app not functioning, except calling 411

I downloaded PhoneGap 0.8.0 from http://phonegap.com/download and
imported the /android project into a new Eclipse workspace. I run the
application on a G1 Dev Phone with Android 1.6. The demo application
launches, however, the only functionality that seems to work is "Call
411".

Beep, Vibrate, Watch Accelerometer, and (the only one I really need)
Get Location seem to do nothing when tapped.

What am I doing wrong?

The solution from Nitobi:

Download the "edge" release instead.

Because it's the edge release, concatenate the JS files by going to
the PhoneGap directory and running "make". Then copy the files from
lib/android/ over to android/assets/www/. Compile and all should be
well.

I copied over the JS and still I don't get a location for example.

So officially, use 0.8.2 not edge we just made some changes to edge
and we are re-factoring things quite a bit this week. If you have any
specific problems, ping Joe Browser
